in the last weekLess than 8 days ago I purchased some clothes and a pair of drives from this Ross Dress for Less location in Norfolk Virginia around the Tidewater Drive area (for a professional/career related event that I wanted to be dressed appropriately for). The 2 navy blue blouses, navy blue slacks, and shoes that I purchased were at an affordable price, comfortable, and fit me easily. The employee handling our order was also very cordial.5 months agoFound a nice birthday gifts for my neighbor’s daughter. She loves unicorns and found a cute backpack with unicorn on it. Was also able to find a few nice hair items to go in the backpack. Found a nice dress. Things are a little disarray or cluttered but I was able to find what I needed.8 months agoThere is NOTHING in the is store. Not a thing that is remotely 2023. The security guy was following me around. Guy, there is nothing I’d even consider taking in that raggedy store if I was a thief. They need to close the store. It is like the saddest Ross in the USA. Sad, sad, sad. The conversations from the back were loud AF and there is no public bathroom. Using a bathroom is a basic human need! That whole area of town is sad. Y’all move and find happiness! Norfolk is a sad place unless you live in Ghent and Freemason. However, I’ve edited this post, because I cannot believe I was being followed around the store! It was so obvious. The guy was wearing glasses, and he was in a tan hat. I said, so he could hear me, “you’re following the wrong mofo.” The one item I did purchase should have been in the children’s department because it’s a joke. Thank goodness there was water. The lady at the cash register was extremely nice, and the gentleman standing at the front door greeting people.5 months agoThis is the newest Ross store in my area seems to still need stocking so for now I’ll stick with landstown or Greenbriar….5/16/23 am I missing the stock date very low stock plus its not Organized very well I’ll keep checking thougha year agoSo glad they opened a Ross that is closer to me. They just opened so they’re still stocking items. Associates are friendly. Shout out to Teona for helping me with a past purchase. She was very pleasant along with the cashier, I didn’t get her name but she has blonde dreads, very friendly. 10/10 would recommend. Now I can get my Christmas shopping done here and essentials all year around 🙂

Plenty of stock, more than enough stuff for me to choose from. Fitting rooms were clean and organized too. Very impressed.
I would have spent half my paycheck had I scanned the home good aisle but I was wise enough to just hit the clothing section and call it a day.
My Cashier Breyana was AMAZING. This isn’t the first time she’s helped me & she never fails to seem to be the most courteous employee in the store at all times. 10/10. And on top of that, she is always positive and lively… and of course, the prices are astounding.
Mr. Bernard Harris was the shining star at that location. He successfully deescalated a situation and made it positive. Exceptional customer service.
it always sucks when one employee just makes you feel like you should have gone to Marshall’s instead. Let’s do better please.
Customer service is good. However, this is the third time that i purchased and then went back because they scanned the whole price and not the reduced/sale price. Everytime I am buying at this store, I always have to go back because upon reviewing my receipt, the price that was rang up was not correct. Just a warning for everyone, be vigilant. Make sure what they are ringing up is exactly the price on the tag especially the sale ones.
