I was shopping here the manager a Chinese looking masked woman who wouldn’t tell me her name but another employee said it was Julie , anyway she called the police on me for nothing I had no idea what was going on but as I stand in line at the checkout counter, several Scottsdale police officers approaching stand, looking at me. I ask there’s a problem they said that the manager called and said that she was concerned I was going to shoplift. I asked him why would that be? To which she responded? I don’t know ask her, so I ask her she won’t even look at me. She won’t answer me. She won’t say anything. I was shopping with my girlfriend and I don’t look like a bad guy. I’m not a bad guy I don’t understand anyway, cops left because they obviously wasn’t stealing anything. I asked her again why she called. She said they were just around. that was a lie. The police said that she called specifically they were not real happy about it. I didn’t make my purchase not gonna give a store treats me like that a dollar hopefully this doesn’t happen to anyone else quite embarrassing.

My mother and I (I like to mention I have a Doctorate degree) went into Ross store #0363 today at 10:04:28 a.m. and associate #813799, never said Hi or good morning instead stared at me for a very very long time, she made me feel uncomfortable I am a patient at Mayo, so I am used to great customer service, I don’t want someone staring at me in an intimidating manner, no Hi or good morning just a rude stare, I actually had to say Hi to associate # 813799 in order to break up the uncomfortable moment. I am not sure why this associate was delivering this uncomfortable body language, it almost felt like we were back in the day when America had Jim Crow laws.

   When I approached the register again no Hello, or Hi or did you find everything alright, instead associate # 813799 made the situation uncomfortable again with a not so friendly face and body language, as she said nothing, I had to say hi again, how is your day. To avoid this uncomfortable moment. My mother complained of the exact same thing when we left the store, Ross train your associates on good customer service and cultural competence, I will be returning and expect better service.

5. This store is pretty clean and organised comparatively. Has decent range of options as well. Good shopping experience!
