a year agoExtremely disappointed. I just got some appliances delivered and this is how the installation went. I bought 3 appliances which included installation. When they delivered the washer and dryer and proceeded with the installation, they stated that there were 2 drain holes and that I will need to hire a plumber because they were not sure where the water drainage hose will go. I appreciate that they didn’t install it without knowing; however, if Costco is offering installation and the delivery people didn’t know how to install it they should offer another alternative instead of suggesting the customer to spend more money on a service they should have completed. On another hand, The refrigerator was installed, but they left the packaging on. It is all glued. On top, they left everything inside and even put trash in the house trash can. Per customer service they should have taken the trash with them. This shows very low standards from Costco. I wouldn’t recommend.2 months agoFabulous place. The employees really look like they love their job. They are helpful and work fast. Ike and Tameka who helped me check out my items were funny (and entertaining). They listened to me (even though it was just small talk) and were quick at their job. Also, you cannot beat the deals here. BUY THE MEMBERSHIP! You cannot regret it because you will save so much money in the long run.a month agoI see in my life it’s best customer service at Cosco store they have alot of organic produce! Cheap and affordable! I absolutely love there selection of food and many of the food choices are healthy. The only issue I have is with getting food, the line is always crowded and takes a long time to get your food. Food staff takes a long time to serve. The cashier lines are usually always long, but staff are very kind and welcoming! ????4 months agoI’m only here to share one experience. I’ve had plenty of good experiences here but today.. Im upset. I didn’t know that I had to have my name on my husband’s account for Costco. We have been shopping there for a few years. Once or twice I’ve had to go on my own. I’ve never had a problem. But today I go to pay and they say I can’t shop there. So I spent an hour trying to get groceries for my family during like the one and only hour I had free today. What with my 3 year old and my baby and my navy husband in school full time it’s bit tricky. Anyway. 2 managers come by and just say I’m not on the membership. I can’t shop there. No help at all.. No solutions. No sympathy. They could have been nice and said maybe you can get our husband to come by and show us his ID. Or maybe your husband can come by later and we can put these groceries aside for you for a short time. No. They did not give me kindness. I was forced to leave everything there and walk out with nothing. Imagine how that feels when you had one hour to get food. And it’s wasted and you get nothing. I’m so upset. I’m so angry. I just wanted someone so understand my situation and give me a chance to get the groceries somehow. We are pretty loyal Costco members. Doesn’t that matter? Just rude. Rude. Rude.4 months agoQuality and service are both getting worse. I paid $120 membership fee, and I used to enjoy shopping here. But in the recent months, I had bought several times of rotten food, like potatoes,oranges, plums and apples. I went to the customer service, one time I got a refund, but was denied other times and was told that would notify the supply merchants to improve the quality. Today I also wanted buy some apples, but every package had at least one rotten apple, so obviously to be noticed, I deeply doubted this shop literally had no quality control at all! I had to left without any apples. Furthermore, the floor was dirty sometimes with water or cracked eggs, and the gas price is no more advantage than other gas stations. Especially considering I paid $120 membership fee for nothing, but just a prepaid entrance ticket! I really want my money back. So disappointed.

2 months agoThis Costco storefront may seem tiny but rest assured, it is the same inside as any other warehouse, maybe even larger. Loved this location, right next to a mall. Great selection in all respects. The parking lot isn’t small by any means, but it may take some time and patience to find parking on the weekends. Validating parking is super easy, at the “valet” umbrellas right at the exit (we only stayed for under an hour but I believe they validate up to 2 hours).2 weeks agoI like this place. But customer service is horrible. Especially outside. This lady doesn’t like her job. She was extremely rood. She didn’t want to open the parking door. She asked me why my parking ticket doesn’t work. But I doesn’t know why the ticket didn’t work in that time. At the same time my newborn baby cried more than 1 minute!!!! Don’t work here if you can not be polite and patient!3 weeks agoDear Costco, I bought corns from Arlington VA. Costco store and found out at home that it was all having small white powder and super stinky smell. I have always considered Costco as having the best quality products store and this last week I was really disappointed.a month agoI love Costco for certain things. This location can be a lot to deal with in terms of parking but not a big deal to me. You might spend a lot of time just getting into the lot, then waiting on people to back out before you even get inside the store. If you are not patient, go to another location with quicker/easier parking. Be sure to have parking validated after exiting before you get back to your car! Otherwise the store is just like others, aside from layout.3 months agoThis Costco is very convenient to Arlington and DC however it is always very congested. Be prepared to spend 15-20 min trying to park in a frustrating and dangerous maze of cars and pedestrians. While there is a nice ~7 story parking garage in addition to some surface lots, whoever designed the garage totally messed up a great opportunity – it is very challenging to navigate as the rows are narrow and the ramps between levels are at a 90° angle so you have to wait for traffic to clear before going up/down each level. Inside it’s your usual Costco if a bit of a rectangle compared to most more square warehouses. While transit is nearby, buying bulk at Costco necessitates driving unless you live super close and bring a wagon or something. Prices are more or less the same but Costco sales aren’t what they used to be (pre-pandemic). No gas station either but that would likely make the traffic even worse. Overall great for location, but if you want a less stressful and quicker Costco run, consider the Costco south of Alexandria on RT-1.

I love Costco. You need a membership to shop here, but if you’re in a financial position to shop in bulk, it’s definitely worth it. They have so many quality goods, variety of food, spices, produce, tech, clothes, books, hygiene, and pharmaceuticals. They have quality tires for bulk discount, only really worth it though if you need 4 at a time. They have a great insurance policy. They offer eye and hearing care.
If you’re a student or live in an apartment, you can get an executive membership (you get 2% back on what you spend at the end of the year) so you can get a second card for a roommate, or you can buy groceries for the apartment and have people venmo you, and it makes it worth while pretty easily. Me and my cousin share a membership and split the cost each year and we’ve spent enough to make it worthwhile every year we’ve had it.
Eugene provided exceptional customer service and not only that, but I could tell that he genuinely wanted to help me with the membership process.
He is extremely knowledge and explained everything so well, that I had no questions after.

Amazing service specially from Eugene in customer service! He helped me set up my account and was extremely kind and helpful. The warehouse is clean and spacious, the parking lot and spaces are big, and the cart attendants bring in the carts in a timely manner.
The Costco Food Court has really gone downhill! I always looked forward to having that great hot dog and a drink for the amazing price of $1.50. This trip I got a hot dog that tasted like it had been floating in water for hours. It was topped by a soggy bun! Also Costco now only offers yellow mustard as a topping. The tangy deli mustard is gone along with the sauerkraut option.
Then I tried a slice of Costco’s famous cheese pizza. Another disappointment! It was lukewarm after being under a heat lamp for quite sometime.
I try to stay away from all Costco places. I m still a member even tho I have Sam’s and BJs. I guess I like to suffer from time to time. Parking is horrible. Most people— not all— who go to Costco seems to be on a warpath or just leading hectic lives. You can save on fuel if you like to be on queue. I tell my wife whatever money she be saving in filling up at Costco I will happily reimburse if she goes to the nearest most expensive gas station. Not worth it. Unless you’re filling up an RV I guess. Then, the employees. Most arrogant food retail bunch. I get the pride. But the arrogance of a good number makes me write a long-winded review. Instead of assistance, you mostly get a reprimand. Again, not all. But a Great majority. Seems like every time i step in a Costco place, the employees are doing me a huge favor. And I even pay to get in. Fairfax Costco, I hope you can revisit SOME of your team members’. People skills. Grrrrrr
